A hands-on ELSI Youchien (幼稚園)

ELSI's research encompasses a great diversity, ranging from planet formation to biology, earth science to chemistry. For most ELSI researchers, becoming familiar with and understanding the nature of the research that is being performed outside of their expertise is a challenging task.

To ease the burden and to encourage ELSI members to step out of their comfort zone and educate them about the multitude of research that is being done, a few ELSI members have set up the ELSI Youchien (幼稚園).
Usually the 幼稚園 consists of roughly an hour-long introductory lecture on a variety of topics, but in early October Marine Lasbleis decided to offer a more hands-on approach in her class about fluid dynamics.

Since a picture says a thousand words, we let the images below speak for themselves.
