Piet Hut will organize a workshop in Princeton, November 13-15, 2014, on Modeling Origins of Life (MOL). This workshop is a follow-up for the five-week workshop with the same title that we held at ELSI and in Kobe (sponsored by RIKEN) in July and August this year. While the longer summer workshop was very broad in scope, at the end we decided to get together again for a shorter meeting with a select core group, with the specific aim to build a broader MOL community. For that purpose we have invited Chris Adami, who gave the opening speech at the 2nd ELSI symposium, as well as George Cody, Norman Packard, and Eric Smith. ELSI members participating in the workshop are: Jim Cleaves, Nicholas Guttenberg, Matthieu Laneuville, and Nathaniel Virgo.
