Summary: During the two weeks from July 21 through August 1, ELSI is hosting a workshop on "Modeling Origins of Life". We want to share some of the main results of the workshop with the wider ELSI community. Our main focus has been computer simulations of aspects of Origins of Life, in a broad sense, from more abstract physics inspired models to more specific astro/geo/chemistry and biology inspired models. For anyone at ELSI there will be some overlap with what we have been working on, so we invite all of you to join us.
The format will be four short summary talks, by four speakers, followed by discussions. The first talk will address the scope and background of our approach, while the next three talks will highlight the results of three sample projects that we have been working on during the workshop.
