Kavli IPMU and Quantum Universe

Abstract:
I proposed Kavli IPMU as a place to address basic questions about the Universe using the combination of astronomy, physics, and mathematics. We attack five problems: How he Universe began, what its fate is, what it is made of, how does it work, and how we came to exist. I present what the questions are and how much progress we made over the last eight years of Kavli IPMU, and where we would like to go next. Time permitting, I also present how we have organized ourselves to achieve our goals.
