Dr. McElwain has been participating in the SEEDS project, which searches for extrasolar planets with the Subaru Telescope. He is now working in NASA and for a future satellite telescope (ATLAS) that aims at discovering and imaging Earth-like planets. He is also working for JWST project in NASA. His will (relatively informally) talk about those projects.
