Abstract:
Astrobiology is a cross-cutting theme in all of NASA¹s space science endeavors, knitting together research in astrophysics, earth science, and heliophysics as well as planetary science. Robotic space missions are a defining aspect of NASA, and the development of these missions helps to shape research goals at the agency, including understanding the origins and distribution of life in the universe. Past, current and future NASA missions related to Astrobiology will be presented and how the Astrobiology program contributes directly to NASA missions will be discussed.
