Title: Advanced spectroscopic sensing: Technology opportunities for origin of life research. and Fuel Cells Simulating Prebiotic Hydrothermal Systems

Abstract: Pablo Sobron will discuss several spectroscopic instruments and concepts for planetary and terrestrial exploration that he is currently working on. He will also outline opportunities for technology transfer to origin of life research through two application ideas. Laurie Barge will explain our vision for a fuel cell with laser real-time sensing and how they will advance our understanding of prebiotic chemistry in the laboratory and in the field.
